What Enchantment is, and why you need it.

The thing that really resonated with me while I was reading this book is that the ideas and the reality of being completely enchanted with something is something that I am, and I don’t think it is going too far to say “we are”, very familiar with. Although the feeling is very pure and simple the task of enchanting someone with a product, service, or even idea can be incredibly daunting and complicated. In the book Enchantment Guy Kawasaki breaks down the process of enchanting people beautifully.

Although this isn’t really even scratching the surface of what Guy has to share in this book, there are certain things that will make a certain product enchanting:

1. It needs to be deep.

The people who purchase, use and become enchanted with your product need to know without question that you invested significant time anticipating what they will need as they move up the “power curve”.

2. It needs to be intelligent.

To leave someone enchanted is must solve a problem in smart ways that haven’t been considered before.

3. The “whole package” needs to be complete.

Your audience isn’t going to remain inseparable from anything for long if the entire customer experience is thought through and designed to enchant.

4. It has to be empowering.

Quite simply your customers must be able to do things that they couldn’t do before buying your product, and that they likely wouldn’t be able to do again without it in the future.

5. It should be elegant.

People like attractive things and when they are considering or purchasing a product they want to know that the developers cared about the user interface.

If you want to learn the difference between believing in these points and integrating them to leave your customers enchanted with your products, Guy Kawasaki is the one to teach you.  We’ve set up the chance for you to participate in that very discussion.

Join us for this interactive webinar where you’ll learn exactly how to apply these concepts in your organization, and as usual, leave time to get your questions answered by one of the most fascinating minds in business. Remember to register today even if you can’t make it the day of the event. You can only access the webinar recording after the event if you have registered for the webinar, or if you are a Read It For Me Pro subscriber.
